Greetings and Welcome!

As Mayor of the City of Truth or Consequences, it gives me great pleasure to welcome all members of the New Mexico Rural Economic Development Forum to our fine city! We are very pleased that you have chosen T. or C. for your forum and we will do our very best to ensure that your stay is pleasant and that you take away a little of our hospitality to share with others.

Truth or Consequences is on the edge of our own economic boom. You will undoubtedly hear about the Space Port, the Hot Springs Motor Plex, the Sierra del Rio Golf Course, and the new plans for the Hospital, to name just a few.

As T. or C. grows we look to organizations such as yours to provide information and assistance that can help us grow in the right directions. What an exciting time to be in our area!

I hope that your forum is educational as well as fun. As you discover T. or C., please take time to visit our wonderful Museums, fine Art Galleries, unique gift shops, wonderful restaurants, soothing Hot Mineral spas, and bask in the sun at the Lake. A trip to the new areas will provide you with a good perspective of what is on our horizon. When you leave, take with you fond memories and the enthusiasm that we all currently share.

We hope that you will tell your friends about our wonderful community and all that is being planned for our future development. T. or C. and Sierra County is a great place to live and raise our kids, and we welcome new visitors everyday.
