2010 Rural Economic Development Forum Annual Economic Development Awards

Entry Form

These awards are recognized statewide as the premier awards for outstanding achievement in New Mexico. The awards are given to encourage and recognize excellence in materials, individuals and organizations.

Rules:
1. All entries must be received no later than (one month prior to the Forum). The awards committee is not responsible for lost material and all entries may be picked up after the Forum.

2. A completed entry form must accompany each item submitted for consideration.

3. Entries must have been published/produced within the past 12 months. The purpose may be for one-time events or ongoing events.

4. Only registered conference participants from New Mexico may submit entries.

Award Categories:

• Technology Based and Electronic Award –Web sites or interactive on-line services used to promote business development (copy of web pages. Submitting the web address is not sufficient). Also eligible are audio tapes and or slide videotape presentations designed to promote business development opportunities in a community or region. .
   
• General Purpose Brochure – A marketing brochure or fact book that introduces a prospect company/industry to business community or region. .
   
• Special Event Promotions – Materials used for promoting special events or functions, including fundraisers & festivals, etc. Materials include, but not limited to brochures, pamphlets, direct mail pieces, T-shirts, giveaways &/or posters..
   
• Paid Advertisement – A single or sequential advertisement(s) (color or black and white) published in a print medium (i.e. tear sheet as proof of publication)..
   
• Best Targeted Industry/Client Proposal – Presentation material customized to target a specific client or company or industry opportunities in a community.
